A Note from the Chair of Governors

Thank you for visiting the Governing Body section of the website.

As many of you are aware, I was elected Chair of Governors in October 2007.  The appointment may sound important, but in reality, like all of the other governors, it just means that I volunteer my time to a school that I have quickly become both fond and proud of.

My personal aim is to help ensure that the Governing Body fulfils its responsibilities as effectively as possible; so in partnership with the Headteacher, governors, staff, parents, children, and the wider community; the school continues to move forward in the exciting direction in which it is heading.

If you have any questions about the Governing Body, then please do send them to me via the school office, marked 'Newsletter Questions for the Chair of Governors' and I will put together some answers in future school newsletters (or possibly publish them on this website).
